Wednesday with Mai Korner

 

Lama dah tak update kan.

 

Lama sangat, tak tau mana nak mula.

 

Maybe we can start with the fact that Aiyu is in school now. Sini sekolah mula dari tadika. Kiranya tadika diorang bukan asing macam di Malaysia, tapi di sekolah rendah. Tempoh masa pun sama, dari jam 8:15 pagi ke 2:45 petang. Plus minus, because it depends on the school, hahaha. Pening kan. Cuti pun gitu jugak. Contohnya ada sekolah cuti untuk Columbus Day, ada sekolah tidak. Jadi jangan lah tipah tertipu bila tengok anak orang cuti. Tak semestinya anak mu cuti sama.

 

So far so good, she enjoys her class. This year there are 25 of them in the class, as opposed to 10 kids for her pre-k. We keep her in the Montessori school, since we like the material and concept. The school is quite small compared to others, but I think this works best for now. Nanti dah besar sikit, barulah belajar bersosial, hehe.

 

As for Aaron, he is 2 now. Sekejap je kan. Nasib anak kedua, mak bapak tak sedar anak membesar. Nak pulak mak busy membakor. Alhamdulillah, business been good for me. Banyak mat saleh nak ternak lemak, hehehe. Tapi bila kita dah busy, kekadang rasa kesian kat anak-anak. More time in the kitchen means less time with them. I tend to have the guilt every now and then, but then again, my mom never really sat and played with me. Mak dulu pun busy buat kuih. Ok je semorang, hehehe.. oh well, I might not be the cool and attentive mom, but I don't feed them soda and mac and cheese every night. So I guess I am doing ok, kan? #ayatsedaphati

 

Anyhow, I ni sebenarnya ada azam. 

 

Nak update blog balik, haha.

 

Tah berapa kali punya azam kan.

 

Tapi kali ni betul betul, bukan cobaannnn....

 

I have been through a lot lately, and at times I think that they can be too much. Physically and emotionally. So having something familiar makes me feel a bit more comfortable, and at peace.

 

Things you have to endure when you are an adult, huh?
